Regional Care Development Advisers (RCDA) have detailed knowledge of the care and management of MND, work closely with local statutory services and community care providers to ensure effective support for people affected by MND, offer support and advice to people with MND and their families, and act as educators, facilitators and catalysts.

Lorraine Carter is the RCDA for North and West London and can be contacted on 08457 626262.

Volunteering Development Co-ordinators (VDC) are regionally- based staff who provide advice and support to Branches and other Volunteer Groups and also encourage and help to set up new Branches and Groups.

Alison Manning is the local Volunteering Development Co-ordinator and can be contacted on 07831 349409 or by email at alison.manning@mndassociation.org.

MND Connect

The Association's Helpline, MND Connect, offers information and support to people affected by the disease. Enquiries from health and social care professionals are also welcomed.

A team of experienced staff and volunteers work closely with local and regional services to provide advice, practical and emotional support, and to put you in touch with other appropriate services.

It is available Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and 7pm - 10.30pm. Calls are charged at local rates from anywhere in the UK.
